Your contribution is greatly appreciated by the scientific committee. We therefore cordially invite you to submit an abstract. Abstracts will be published in the online version of Neuromodulation: Technology at the Neural Interface. You can submit your abstract till May 13, 2018. Whether your abstract is accepted for presentation (orally or as a poster) during the 1st joint Congress of the European INS chapters depends on matters such as topicality (when the subject was last discussed at the congress), turnover, research and the result. You will receive the results of this assessment via email. For you personally, writing an abstract can add valuable points to your portfolio in the quality register.

After review, your abstract is designated into one of the following 2 presentation forms

1. Oral presentations (invited speakers and abstracts)
The speaking time is 10 minutes including discussion (about 8 minutes of presentation and 2 minutes of discussion). This limited time means that your presentation can consist of a maximum of 8-12 slides. The chairs are instructed to request the speaker to end the nomination if the allotted time is exceeded. The time of your nomination can be found in the updated program that is placed under the program button.

For the presentation, you may use a locally available PC with beamer. Connecting your own PCs to the beamer is not possible. You are kindly requested to hand in your PowerPoint file to the technician, at least one hour before the start of the session in question. Your lecture will be uploaded to the room where your presentation is scheduled.
Language of presentation is English.

Submitted abstracts automatically are entered in a competition with a prize of 500 Euro for the best abstract in the categories: paramedical, clinical or fundamental scientific. The winner will be announced during the congress days (exact time will follow).

2. Poster workshop presentations
Oral poster workshop presentations are in the form of a 3-4 minutes presentation with 3 minutes discussion, in front of your poster. You are kindly requested to hang a printed poster on the board with your name and registration number on it 3 hours before the session. Your poster may not exceed a maximum of A0 format (or 1 m wide and 2 m).
